This boot is made with one of the leathers we have developed with the Iberia tannery in Portugal. This leather is a shrunken fiber waxed suede. It is thicker than industry standard and has an initially stiff temper to it. This article is a heavily waxed leather, as it contains both wax in the tannage and on the surface of the leather during the final step of tanning. Through our partnership, we have been able to make this and other articles more to our specifications in terms of color and weight. Care for this article over time is relatively straightforward, as only a boot wax, or leather balm of choice, are needed to both condition and preserve the leather. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eInsole Build\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThis boot, along with others beginning their release in the Summer of 2026, will feature our new insole build combination. This includes our standard vegetable tanned bends leather insole, but with more arch support. Additionally, there will be a thicker layer of cork underneath as you might be able to see in the cutaway on the website as well. The new insole build is meant to provide a mildly firm, supportive feel in the entirety of the arch of your foot. You may very well notice immediately the firmness of the support this insole provides upon trying the boots on.
